  Clinical Applications of Laryngeal Electromyography in Patients of Unilateral Vocal Fold Paralysis

Dr. Chen-Chi WANG graduated from School of Medicine, National Yang-Ming University, Taipei, Taiwan in 1994. He finished his residency training in Department of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery, Taichung Veterans General Hospital, Taichung City, (VGHTC) Taiwan in year 2000. He therefore became an attending physician in the same hospital. He went to Tokyo Voice Center, International University of Health and Welfare, Tokyo, Japan in 2002 and studied with Prof. Hiroyuki Fukuda on phonosurgery for 2 months. From year 2003 to 2004, he studied with Prof. Eugene N. Myers on Head & Neck Oncology in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA for one year. He also studied with Prof. Steve Zeitels on phonosurgery for one month in year 2004. After going back Taiwan, he kept working in VGHTC and became the chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery since year 2017. In addition, he is the Clinical Professor of Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, Asia University, in Taichung and had been the Secretary General of Asia-Oceania Association of Oto-Rhino-Laryngological Societies. He focused his research interest on Laryngology and Robotic Head Neck Surgery in recent years and has published several innovative articles in these fields.
