Dr WONG is a graduate from the University of Hong Kong. He received his training in Otorhinolaryngology and general surgery in Hong Kong, Edinburgh, and England. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologist, the Fellow of the Hong KOng Academy of Medicine in the specialty of both Otorinolaryngology and General Surgery and a Fellow with Otolarynology of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at The Chinese University of Hong Kong

In addition to the above, he is also the Founding Chairman of the Hong Kong Society of Medical Professionals (HKSMP) and serves in various social and community committees. For his various active works for the community, Dr WONG had been awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star (SBS) in 2011, the Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) in 2004 form the Hong Kong SAR Government and was also appointed Justice of the Peace (JP) in 2005.
