  An Oral Motor Rehabilitation Exercise Software for the Elderly

Mr. YU graduated with an M.Phil. in electronic engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. His thesis topic was “Design and Evaluation of Tone-enhanced Strategy for Cochlear Implants in Noisy Environment”, in which he investigated the importance of periodicity-cues towards tone perception by cochlear implantees. He then received an M.A. in Linguistics from CUHK in 2013, with a thesis on “Cantonese Tone categorization, Perception and Production of Children with Moderate to Profound Degree of Hearing Loss”. He is currently working as research associate in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in CUHK.
