Dysphagia management is probably the major but potentially risky role that a speech therapist plays in the residential care homes for the elderly (RCHE). Assessing and managing dysphagia is challenging because of the various limitations.
This seminar, which is organized by the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery of the Faculty of Medicine & The Institute of Human Communicative Research, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, aims to specifically enhance participants’ knowledge in dysphagia management and in particular, the tools and skills you need to survive in a RCHE environment.
