I am delighted to let you know of our
forthcoming Seventh CUHK Temporal Bone Dissection Course for trainees and specialists. Over the years, we
have had the opportunity of working with higher surgical trainee and specialist colleagues locally and
from different Countries around the world; their appreciation of the Course has been a great encouragement
to us all to continue to help enhance the knowledge and skills in operative procedures on the Temporal Bone.
The scarcity of bones is a difficult issue internationally but thanks to the Department of Anatomy of the
Chinese University of Hong Kong, we can continue our commitment to teach and train. During the four day
dissection course, the most relevant lectures are incorporated, based on the feedback of our previous
participants. Each delegate will have ample time and supervision to drill two bones with specially
selected lectures to enhance the learning process. They will be working in a state of the art equipped
Skills Centre of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Specialists interested in refreshing their skills
and updating on the latest may also find the course interesting and helpful. The available places would
understandably be very limited due to the limitation of the available numbers of bones. We shall be
running two rounds of hands on drilling. Once again, we have with us our two experienced guest faculty
Mr Dennis CHOA, Consultant Otologist of the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, London, United
Kingdom and Mr Navnit SHAH, Honorary Consultant Otologist of the National Hospital, London, well known to
all and an experienced trainer of many renowned Otologists. If you are interested, do register early on-line
or by mail to ensure a place on the course. We all look forward to welcoming you to our course and Hong Kong.
