Dr CHAN graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in London, followed by specialist training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck surgery at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions with advanced training in Head and Neck surgery, microvascular reconstruction and robotics. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at The Chinese University of Hong Kong with research interests the application of robotics in Head and Neck Surgery and the microbiome in head and neck cancer.

Dr Eric LAU graduated from the medical faculty of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, followed by specialist training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck surgery in Prince of Wales Hospital and United Christian Hospital. Dr LAU proceeded to complete post-fellowship training with the Head and Neck Surgery Board of the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologists and the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies.

Dr LAU was elected the Distinguished Young Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologists in 2018. He has overseas working and observership experiences in Head and Neck surgery with Zhejiang Cancer Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto Mount Sinai Hospital, Asan Medical Center, and Tata Memorial Hospital.

Dr LAU is a certified Head and Neck robotic surgeon. His clinical and academic interests include Radiofrequency Ablation of thyroid and salivary gland tumours, histological cancer prognosticators, and Virtual Surgical Planning.

Dr Josephine MAK graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and persued her plastic surgery training at Kwong Wah Hospital, where she is currently positioned as team head. She is also the Associate Professor of the University of Hong Kong.

Dr MAK has special interest in head and neck resection and reconstructions, reconstructive microsurgery and cleft surgeries. She received post fellowship training in head and neck surgeries at MD Anderson Cancer Centre in United States and at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan. She has also visited different plastic surgery centres in the United States including UC Irvine, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital and Emory University Hospital. Dr MAK has given multiple presentations in international meetings and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a committee member of the Chinese Society of Microsurgery.

Dr NG Siu-Kwan received his basic medical training in The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He pursued his specialist training in CUHK-affiliated hospitals.

Before he moved to private practice, he was a consultant surgeon of the Department of Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery in Prince of Wales Hospital. He is also the Clinical Associate Professor (Honorary), Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Apart from general Ear, Nose and Throat practice, his special clinical interests include thyroid, salivary gland surgery, and also transoral laser surgery for pharyngeal/ laryngeal diseases. He is active in thyroid surgery and serves as an executive committee member of the Asia-Pacific Society of Thyroid Surgery. He is one of the organisers and faculties in the annual CUHK Head and Neck Dissection and Reconstruction Hands-on courses since 2013.

He is also active in the field of sialendoscopy, a minimally invasive technique for obstructive salivary gland diseases. He has been a regular invited faculty in the training courses organised by the European Sialendoscopy Training Center in Geneva since 2013.

Dr SU Yuxiong Richard works as Clinical Professor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Hong Kong. He received his undergraduate and postgraduate education and oral & maxillofacial surgery resident training in Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China. He studied in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Luebeck, Germany, in 2009, and the Department of Head and Neck Surgery, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas, USA, in 2011-2012. Dr SU specializes and is experienced in the surgical management of oral and maxillofacial benign and malignant tumors, microsurgical reconstruction of head and neck soft tissue and bony defects, and salivary gland diseases including sialendoscopy. He actively participates in clinical and basic research and has published more than 40 manuscripts in peer-review journals.

Dr Vlantis is an Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, which he joined in 2000. He is a senior member of the head and neck surgical oncology team at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong, the field of his main clinical and research interest. He is also responsible for undergraduate teaching of medical students, the training of registrars / clinical assistants in otorhinolaryngology, and for postgraduate subspecialist training in head and neck surgery. He did his undergraduate and postgraduate training in South Africa and a fellowship in head and neck surgery in The Netherlands.

Dr Eddy Wong graduated at the medical faculty of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). After graduation from the medical school, he pursued his ENT specialist training in the United Christian Hospital and the Prince of Wales Hospital (PWH). After that, he developed an interest in head & neck surgery. He underwent further subspecialty training both locally and overseas including the attachment to Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan and MD Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston.

He is currently the Chief of division of head and neck surgery in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, CUHK and consultant head and neck surgeon in PWH. He is also the chief editor of “Head and Neck Dissection and Reconstruction Manual” published by CUHK in 2015. Aside from head and neck oncology surgery, he also interested in robotic and endoscopic surgery for head and neck disease.

王维扬 医生 毕业于香港中文大学医学院(CUHK)。 从医学院毕业后,他在联合医院和威尔斯亲王医院(PWH)进行耳鼻喉科专科培训。 之后,他开始对头颈部手术感兴趣。 他在本地和海外接受了更多的专科培训,包括台湾长庚医院和休斯顿MD安德森肿瘤医院。

他目前是香港中文大学耳鼻喉科耳鼻喉科头颈外科主任和PWH的头颈外科顾问医生。

他亦是2015年中大出版的“头颈部解剖与重建手册”的主编。除头颈肿瘤外科外,他还对头颈部疾病的机器人和内窥镜手术感兴趣。

Dr Zenon YEUNG graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and received his specialty training in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at United Christian Hospital under the guidance of Dr Victor Abdullah.

Dr YEUNG specializes in head and neck cancer surgery and completed his 2-year post-fellowship training in head and neck cancer surgery at the Prince of Wales Hospital and United Christian Hospital in Hong Kong.

In 2015, Dr YEUNG was awarded the Thomas Cheung Educational Fund Scholarship to undergo further study in head and neck cancer resection and reconstruction in Iowa, United States. In 2017, Dr Yeung was elected as the Distinguished Young Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologists. In 2019, he was awarded the Hospital Authority Corporate Scholarship to study head and neck cancer surgery at the University of Cape Town with Prof Johannes Fagan.

Dr YEUNG is now an Associate Consultant in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the United Christian Hospital and Tseung Kwan O Hospital, Kowloon East Cluster. He is also an Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
