| Professor Chan is currently Clinical Professor and Chairman of
the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He also is the
Assistant Dean (Student Development) for the Faculty of Medicine. With a global
perspective following graduating from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of
Medicine in London, specialist training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck
surgery at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions with advanced training in
Head and Neck surgery, microvascular reconstruction and robotics. Professor Chan’s clinical expertise covers the full breadth of head and neck surgery, including a focus on minimally invasive approaches, in particular, transoral robotic approaches for head and neck tumours. His current area of research is focused on the role of the microbiome in head and neck cancers and the development of endoluminal robotics in surgery for which he has received numerous grants and Co-Founded a robotics startup - Agilis Robotics Ltd. In addition, he serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Otolaryngology -Head and Neck Surgery, the official journal of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and has over 100 peer reviewed published journal articles. |

| Dr. Ronald Lai is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at United Christian Hospital and Tseung Kwan O Hospital in Hong Kong. He is also an Clinical Assistant Professor (honorary) at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr. Lai received his medical degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was awarded the College Medal for best trainee research presentation competition and the Thomas Cheung Education Fund Scholarship during his specialty training. Upon completing a 3-year post-fellowship training in head and neck cancer surgery at Prince of Wales Hospital and United Christian Hospital in Hong Kong, he also obtained the IFHNOS Global Online Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology with Honours. Dr. Lai was awarded the Hospital Authority Corporate Scholarship to undergo training in head and neck cancer surgery with Professor Johannes FAGAN and endoscopic sinus & skull base surgery with Professor Darlene LUBBE respectively at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Dr. Lai is currently a trainer in head and neck surgery at the Kowloon East Cluster, Hong Kong. In addition to head & neck resection and reconstructive surgeries, he has developed special interests in dysphagia management and minimally invasive surgeries including radiofrequency ablation of benign thyroid nodules, sialendoscopy and transoral robotic surgery. |

| Samuel Cheng is the Associate Consultant in Department of ENT of New Territories East Cluster, Hospital Authority and Clinical Assistant Professor (honorary) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He graduated from The Chinese University in Hong Kong and completed specialist training in otorhinolaryngology, head & neck surgery at the Prince of Wales Hospital. He also completed post-fellowship training in Head & Neck Surgery by Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngology and Global online fellowship (GOLF) by the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS). He has special interest in ultrasound guided ablation for thyroid and salivary glands. | Dr. Cho graduated from the medical faculty of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), followed by specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at CUHK affiliated ENT departments locally. With subspecialty interests in Rhinology & Skull Base Surgery and Head & Neck Surgery, he underwent further local and overseas training with clinical attachment at National Cancer Centre Singapore and Cranial Base Surgery Division, Department of Otolaryngology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre. He has special interests in endoscopic endonasal surgery for treating different benign and malignant sinonasal & anterior skull base tumours, recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma and skull base osteoradionecrosis. He has attained the Global Online Fellowship of IFHNOS (International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies) and post fellowship training in head and neck surgery of the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologists. He was one of the Junior Members Travel Grants Winners at the European Rhinology Society meeting ERS2018. | Dr. Chang is the Chief of the Otology and Neurotology Division in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, with special interest in hearing degeneration, auditory implantation, vestibular diseases, tinnitus, transcanal endoscopic ear surgery and skull base surgery. She pioneered endoscopic ear surgery in Hong Kong since 2016 and performed the first transcanal skull base surgery in the same year. She performed most of the auditory implants and is the leader of many of the otology research in her centre. She is currently the Assistant Director of Institute of Human Communicative Research, Trainer of The Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologists, the Asia Pacific Otorhinolaryngologic Surgical Training Group (APOST) and the World Skull Base Group. She is a member of the International Working Group on Endoscopic Ear Surgery (IWGEES), Secretary of the Pan-Asia Working Group on Endoscopic Ear Surgery (PAWGEES). She has collaborations with John Hopkin’s Centre for research related to elderly hearing loss and dementia. She is the Chief Author of the Total Endoscopic Ear Surgery Dissection Manual published by the CUHK with a total of more than 30 publications including international journals, peers reviewed abstracts and book chapters. |

| Professor Tong, a clinical professor of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, as well as the Director of the Institute of Human Communicative Research at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, is specialized in the fields of otology, neurotology, and skull base surgery. He was the chief of the Division of Otorhinolaryngology of the Department of Surgery from 2003 to 2007, the Head of Academic Divisions of the Department from 2007 to 2015, and the Chairman of the Department from 2015 to 2024. Recently, Professor Tong has been pioneering the development of advanced endoscopic ear surgery techniques, medical robotics, and the application of artificial intelligence in medicine and technological tools for neurosciences. Paralleled with that, his interest has extended to the broader field of medicine, including epidemiology and public health, especially in elderly health. He is also a key member of the Brain and Mind Institute, the Gerald Choa Neuroscience Institute, the INNOHK Multiscale Medical Robotics Centre, and the CUHK T-Stone Robotics Institute. Having led the relevant clinical research teams, Professor Tong has numerous successful grants and over 280 peer-reviewed publications, which have resulted in a national and international reputation for his department in the field of general otology, cochlear and auditory brainstem implantation, and nasopharyngeal cancer research. He has also been interested in developing technical innovations for minimally invasive surgery in otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery. Professor Tong has been visiting globally as an educator for the past 30 years, sharing his clinical and surgical experience in hearing implants, endoscopic ear surgery, and related fields of the specialty. He has been a key leader in chairing international conferences and committees, and he co-founded the World Chinese Academy of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the sole notable organization to represent greater China for IFOS, the international ENT community. Apart from teaching, research, and clinical work, Professor Tong advocates for community service to educate the public on health issues related to the ear, nose, and throat. As the Founder and Chairman of a non-profit organization, Hear Talk Foundation, since 2003, he has enlisted voluntary service from professionals to offer service to the underprivileged. The Foundation has operated regular charitable missions to mainland China to provide free medical and surgical treatment to the poor and surgical training to local specialists. Professor Tong has also established an organization, the Asia Pacific Otorhinolaryngologic Surgical Training Group (APOST) since 2016, to train otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgeons in the Asia-Pacific region to foster specialty development in Asia through collaboration between academic and industrial partners. |

| Dr Zhou graduated from
Qingdao Medical College in 1986. In the same year, he entered the Department of
Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery of Beijing Tongren Hospital and
completed the residency training. He began to study and carry out endoscopic
sinus surgery and related research under the guidance of Professor Han Demin in
1991. To date, he has been performed more than 20,000 endoscopic procedures and
published 162 articles in Chinese and English. In recent years, he mainly
focuses on the surgical and comprehensive medical treatment of refractory
sinusitis, the endoscopic surgery and comprehensive treatment of nasal skull
base tumors, including JNA, inverted papillomas and olfactory neuroblastoma,

| Dr. Nattawan is a specialist in neuroaudiology and audiovestibular medicine, currently based in the Otoneurology Unit of the Otolaryngology Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. She holds a PhD from University College London (UCL), where she focused on hearing and balance disorders. Her work centers on improving the quality of life for older adults in Thailand by addressing age-related hearing loss and vestibular dysfunction. Passionate about integrating technology with healthcare, Dr. Nattawan has secured funding from the UK’s Royal Academy of Engineering and the British Council to co-develop a digital hearing evaluation platform with UCL. This innovation aims to identify early signs of dementia through hearing assessment, offering a promising tool for proactive elderly care. Her contributions to the field have been recognized internationally. She was awarded the prestigious Hallpike Prize by the British Association of Audiovestibular Physicians for her outstanding research and, in 2022, received the Science and Sustainability Award for East Asia UK Alumni. This award highlights her impactful work supporting the health and wellbeing of Thailand’s aging population. | Dr. Chen-Chi Wu is an attending physician at the Department of Otolaryngology, National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) and a professor at the National Taiwan University College of Medicine. He is currently the director of the Cochlear Implantation Program at NTUH and the director of the Department of Medical Research and the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, NTUH Hsin-Chu Branch. Dr. Wu received a MD degree (1999), a PhD degree in medicine (2010), and a PhD degree in law (2020) from NTU. He holds both physician and attorney licenses in Taiwan. His clinical interest lies in pediatric otology, cochlear implantation, endoscopic ear surgery, and lateral skull base surgery. His research interest centers on molecular diagnostics and therapeutics of inner ear diseases. His team has been dedicated to the early detection, diagnosis, and management of childhood hearing impairment over the past 20 years. Dr. Wu has been extensively involved in numerous international scientific societies. He is currently a board member of the Asia Pacific Symposium on Cochlear Implant and Related Sciences (APSCI) and a board member of East Asia Symposium on Otology (EASO). He is also an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNSF), the Association for Research in Otolaryngology (ARO), the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG), the Barany Society, the International Otopathology Society, and the Politzer Society. | Dr. Pereira has been in the field of Cleft Lip +/- Palate and Craniofacial conditions for over 20 years. She was previously with the Supra-Regional Craniofacial Unit and subsequently joined the North Thames Regional Cleft Service, both based at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust (UK). She obtained her PhD from UCL Institute of Child Health (UK), investigating the impact of orthognathic surgery on speech outcomes. Dr Pereira is the current Chair of the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Conditions committee of the IALP International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She was an invited Faculty for the Comprehensive Cleft Care Workshops in Turkey (2021) and Brazil (2022) respectively and was on the Global Cleft Speech Task Force Committee for the International Confederation of Cleft Lip and Palate and Related Craniofacial Anomalies at the 14th International Cleft Congress held in Edinburgh in 2022. She was recently awarded a Health Medical and Research Fund (HK) grant for the “construction and validation of a comprehensive perceptual assessment of Cleft Palate Speech-Cantonese (PACS-C) for the evaluation of speech and velopharyngeal function in Cantonese-speaking children”. |

| Raymond is a speech-language pathologist who specializes in dysphagia and motor speech disorders. He worked in a tertiary teaching hospital for about 15 years and have a vast amount of clinical experience in managing patients across the age-spectrum and in different diseases. He completed his doctoral degree at the University of Queensland on dysphagia in patients with nasopharyngeal cancer. He has published extensively in the area of dysphagia in head and neck cancer patients, dysphagia service delivery and also in the area of dysphagia intervention in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. He has also received grants on fostering knowledge transfer and advancing dysphagia education. He currently serves as an assistant professor in the department and is responsible for teaching and research primarily in dysphagia, motor speech disorders. His ongoing research projects include intervention on dysphagia for patients with nasopharyngeal cancer, applicability of novel assessment techniques in dysphagia and the impact of soft meals in older adults. |

| Dr Eguchi is a head and neck surgeon specializing in the

in the management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). He has been invited by the Chinese

for the surgical management of OSA. He contributed to the drafting of the
Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Surgical Treatment of OSA (2024) issued by the
Chinese Medical Association.
Dr Liu dedicated to
clinical research on sleep disorders and their impact on cognitive and behavioral
health. He currently leads multiple research projects, including one funded by the
National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), one Shanghai Municipal clinical

| Prof Han Demin, professor, doctorial supervisor, graduated from China Medical University in 1976. After years of study in Kanazawa Medical University Japan, he obtained his M.D and Ph.D. in 1990. He joined BIO in 1990 working as a post-doctor. He served as the forth director of BIO from 1994 to 2012 and the director of Beijing Tongren Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University from 2000 to 2012, He was the chairman of Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery of the Chinese Medical Association from 2005 to 2012 and the director of China’s first Deafness Prevention Cooperation Center of the World Health Organization in 2008. Working as the executive director-general of Beijing Municipal Health Bureau, he devoted himself in the fight against SARS in 2003. Since 1991, he has introduced and promoted the development of nasal endoscopic surgical techniques, artificial hearing techniques, diagnosis and treatment techniques of upper airway dysfunction in sleep, minimally invasive technique of head and neck surgery, and clinical audiology in China. He was awarded the National Awards in 2001, 2006 and 2009, and obtained 15 patents. In 2007, he was awarded by Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation for his contributions to the scientific and technological progress. He has traveled to southern Africa, neighboring countries and the poor and remote regions of China with his colleagues for the promotion of deafness and blindness prevention knowledge, research and training of relevant professionals etc. In 2012, he was awarded the South-South Award for International Humanity Spirit of the United Nations in Geneva. |

| Dr. Ho is a Senior Dental Officer of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery at Hong Kong Children’s Hospital, one of Service Network Hospitals in Hospital Authority. She is also a part-time clinical lecturer at the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Ho graduated with distinction from the University of Hong Kong in 2008. She obtained her Membership in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2012 and her Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong in 2016. Her areas of interests include obstructive sleep apnea and craniofacial deformities. Apart from teaching, Dr. Ho is also passionate about actively promoting oral and maxillofacial surgery regionally and internationally. She holds the position of the Council Member of the Hong Kong Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons since 2016 and one of the starting Council Members of the Young Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of Hong Kong established since 2014. She is the founding president of Hong Kong Association of Dental Sleep Medicine established in 2024. |

| Dr João Flávio Nogueira graduated from Federal University of Ceará. He is currently director of Sinus & Oto Centro, in Fortaleza, Brazil. He works with endoscopic techniques in sinus, anterior skull base, ear and lateral skull base. He has published 2 Silver Books, editor of two best selling editions of the Otolaryngology Clinics of North America (2013 and 2016), several book chapters and more than 39 scientific papers. He is one of the board members of the IWGEES – International Working Group on Endoscopic Ear Surgery. Member of the Brazilian ENT society and member of AAO-HNS since 2006. He has been invited to more than 40 countries to participate in congresses, workshops and courses as invited guest. He current hosts a YouTube channel with more than 13,5 million views with several surgical and historical videos of ENT procedures, lectures and techniques. |

| Dr Vincent is an otologist
surgeon with special interest on stapes surgery and ossicular
reconstruction of the middle ear. He has performed more than 7500
operations for otosclerosis, more than 4000 operations for
ossicular reconstruction and more than 260 operations for congenital
malformation of the ossicular chain. He was Instructor at the AAO-HNS for many years. On October 4, 2009 he has been awarded by the Board of Directors of the AAO-HNS a certificate of honor for exceptional services in the scientific program continuing education courses and instructional courses of this Society. He is on the editorial board of several scientific journals such as the Otology & Neurotology Journal, the Journal of the Mediterraneen Society of Otology, and also serves as a reviewer for a number of professional publications. Since 21 years he runs a annual advanced otology course in June at the Causse Ear Clinic where delegates from all parts of the world are participating every year. He is a yearly invited guest speaker and guest surgeon in many countries worldwide and has designed several middle ear prostheses and published new techniques in ossicular reconstruction. He has published many publications on middle ear surgery in several scientific journals and wrote chapters in several books on surgical technique in Otology. |

| Prof. Abdulrahman Hagr is a pioneering figure in the field of otology and neurotology in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. He is the founder and advisor of the national Cochlear Implant Programmes in Saudi Arabia and played a key role in advancing hearing healthcare in the region. At King Saud University, he established the Otology and Neurotology Fellowship Programme, contributing to the development of future specialists in the field. Prof. Hagr is also the founder of the largest cochlear implant programme in the Middle East. His visionary leadership led to the introduction of several groundbreaking hearing solutions in Saudi Arabia, including the first Bone Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA), Hybrid Cochlear Implant (CI), Auditory Brainstem Implant (ABI), Active Bone Conduction Implant (ABCI), Vistafix, Vibroplasty, and Bonebridge programmes. His contributions have significantly improved the quality of life for individuals with hearing impairments across the region. |
