Dr. LEUNG graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and completed her training in Otorhinolaryngology at Prince of Wales Hospital. She has special interest in Sleep Surgery and Sleep Medicine. She underwent overseas training in Sleep Surgery Division of Stanford University and Medical College Wisconsin.
She is an Associate Consultant of the Department of the Ear, Nose and Throat of the Prince of Wales Hospital, and Clinical Assistant Professor (honorary) of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. With the support by Professor Michael Tong, an integrated sleep service in the Prince of Wales Hospital, with collaboration with the Departments of Medicine, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Oral and maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontist was established. There was also collaboration between The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Dr. Stanley Liu from Stanford University since 2018, to provide different spectrum of Sleep Surgeries in Hong Kong.

Dr LIU is as an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology in the Division of Sleep Surgery, and serves as co-director of the Stanford Sleep Surgery Fellowship. He received his medical and dental degrees from the University of California-San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. LIU practices the full scope of sleep apnea surgery including nasal, palatal, hypoglossal nerve stimulation, genioglossus advancement, distraction osteogenesis maxillary expansion (DOME), and maxillomandibular advancement (MMA).

His active areas of research include dynamic airway examination of OSA, virtual surgical planning for precision facial skeletal surgery, and neuromodulation of the head and neck.

Dr. YEUNG Kong Wah is currently the Consultant & Chief of Services of Otorhinolaryngology in New Territories WestCluster, Hospital Authority. He is also the chief in sleep medicine service development in the New Territories West Cluster.

Since 2008, he has developed a modified technique of uvulopalatopharyngoplasty and more than hundred cases has been performed with satisfactory results. Since 2013, more than 50 cases of midline glossectomy have been performed in one-stage multi-level soft tissue surgery for severe obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome. Most of the cases can achieve 70% improvement in overall sleep quality.
