Tour of CU Medicine: Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery
The Department was formally established in 2007, evolving from its earlier role within the Department of Surgery since 1985 and is the only academic department in the field in Hong Kong. It covers a broad range of diseases and conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, and head and neck. The Department is divided into eight specialised divisions － Otology & Neurotology, Rhinology, Speech Therapy, Laryngology, Audiology, Head & Neck Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery, and Paediatric ENT. These divisions excel in both clinical care, research and teaching, making it a leading institution in its field.

部门简介
2007年8月1日，香港中文大学医学院耳鼻咽喉 – 头颈外科学系正式成立，进一步巩固在耳、鼻、喉和头颈外科以及听障、沟通障碍相关的诊断、治疗、培训及研究的发展。
自 1985 年以来，耳鼻喉科的临床医生、教师和研究人员在香港中文大学外科学系下提供服务，现成立一个独立的学术部门是非常重要的成就。这一转变使香港与国际和中国大陆将耳鼻喉科作为独立医学专业和既定学科的分类保持一致。
