Peggy Kan Pui-kei - 15-Year Award
Since joining CUHK in 2007, Peggy Kan Pui-kei has often felt as though she were living in a world of dreams, “rather like the story of Alice in Wonderland”. When she first arrived, she was a young woman who had just started working and felt uncertain about what lay ahead. With the encouragement of her team, she overcame one challenge after another, eventually growing into both a Clinical Coordinator and a Speech Therapy Specialist.

Rhinology Research
Rhinology research at CUHK spans a wide range of areas, including allergic and non allergic rhinitis, sinusitis and nasal polyps, collaborative microbiology and cytokine studies, development and evaluation of surgical instruments, investigations into benign nasal pathologies, and research related to nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). These efforts contribute to improved diagnosis, management, and patient outcomes.

2007年8月1日，香港中文大學醫學院耳鼻咽喉 – 頭頸外科學系正式成立，進一步鞏固在耳、鼻、喉和頭頸外科以及聽障、溝通障礙相關的診斷、治療、培訓及研究的發展。
自 1985 年以來，耳鼻喉科的臨床醫生、教師和研究人員在香港中文大學外科學系下提供服務，現成立一個獨立的學術部門是非常重要的成就。這一轉變使香港與國際和中國大陸將耳鼻喉科作為獨立醫學專業和既定學科的分類保持一致。
